The suffixes "Blue" and "GT" alone are causing surprise. Here comes a car that does not at all hide the conflicting interests of fuel efficiency and sporty manners! VW's engineers have skillfully presented the result of this formula with the Polo Blue GT which closes the gap between the 105 hp strong 1.2 TSI and the GTI Polo with 180 hp. As regards the 1.4-liter TSI "Blue" version, the cylinder shutoff was used as a technical subtlety. The standby mode makes it economic without its driver having to renounce sufficient engine power when required. Lowered, with a low center and good aerodynamics it effortlessly accelerates to 210 km/h: just a typical "GT". This enjoyable car remains true to itself also in the interior; this is not least due to features borrowed from the GTI.
