Off Roaders That Tick The Boxes

When you’re looking for a big car, with big features, a lot of character and a lot of power you need to know that your off road vehicle has got what it takes to give you the performance you need.

You don’t just need raw power but great handling and a comfortable ride. Is it possible to find all these features? In this blog we take a look at the latest off-roaders on the market.

    Jeep Wrangler

Time and time again this tops the lists when it comes to off road vehicles and now is no exception. It’s easy to see why when it blows the competition away with locking differentials, a sturdy undercarriage and those tyres that feel like they could easily conquer anything.

The newer versions now feature a more luxurious interior to match customer demands for performance inside and out. If you are looking for the ultimate in tough terrain vehicles, you’re looking at the Jeep.

    Mercedes G-Class

This boxy-looking off roader is very near the top of its class. A few recent changes to the steering and suspension have elevated the G-class’ performance and given it even better clearance over the ground. It’s an exceptional vehicle and though not updated very often, when it does the difference is much appreciated. A vehicle you can put your trust in when it comes to off road handling.

    Land Rover Discovery

Another of the classics when it comes to off road vehicles. While the newer models have largely kept up with the competition, there’s not much to give them the edge and in fact in some areas they find themselves behind. Take performance, while a perfect all rounder on most terrains, when the going gets really tough you won’t get quite the same power as you would with the Jeep or Mercedes. Nevertheless a classic, calm and reassuring ride as always.

    Volkswagen Amarok

We find this car to be good as a crossover. At home in the city just as much as chewing up mud, the Amarok is for anyone looking for urban driving with the occasional weekend spent off roading.

It’s powerful and smooth, allowing you to get up to some decent speeds. It can handle most terrains with confidence, which makes it stand out in the crossover class where vehicles often lack the oomph for the countryside or the speed for the city.

When you’re looking for the ultimate off road vehicle, you’ll be hard pressed to beat the Jeep, with the iconic design that’s been in existence since the Second World War. A true classic that delivers time and time again.

When you’re looking for your next off roader, don’t get caught out by substandard vehicles or fake auto parts make sure to get your next vehicle from a trusted dealership. Hop into a powerful, mud eating monster and drive away knowing you’re in a machine that can tackle the toughest of tough terrains and anything that life throws your way.
