The drivers of VW Rabbit GTi, Mk 1 ChumpCar 666 hoped for a winter ChumpCar race at Watkins Glen International over the November 1-2, 2014 weekend. Cold and wet conditions on Saturday necessitated the use of winter tires. Sunday's icy start again made the DriveTeq Team confident with their tire selection. The usual DriveTeq combo of FUN, good driving, drama, and a fast car despite its 108hp were present. Unfortunately, at hour 13 of 14, we were knocked out and decided to stay down and return next year.
